Hi! I’m Matt. I’ve been studying Professional Writing for a couple of years with all the grace and potential only true procrastination can allow. This last semester I juggled a columnist gig and my first attempt at writing a novel, two experiences that helped me figure out what the hell I’m going to do with my life and how exactly to go about doing it. That’s more thanks to the column, admittedly. The novel kinda sucked.

I’m a self-proclaimed nerd with ties to any and every genre of gaming, save for sports and racing. Sorry, ladies and gents, but you’re more likely to hear me ramble on about SSB, GTA4, LPB, SMT:P4, FO3, WoG and so many other freaking acronyms* than the latest incarnation of Madden 200X. Expect indie coverage too, as there are an absolute goldmine of great independently-authored games sitting free and pretty just a click away.

*Arbitrary number of nerd points if you get them all right!
