In Everything Else, The Marc Up
It’s just been one of those weeks.
The sort where you don’t want to do anything but sit around and breathe. And any call to action (be it school work or real work) just makes you feel defiant and cynical. Literally.
I had a test this week, but instead of spending quality time making sure I had my answers mostly correct I drew Waldo instead. I then challenged by professor to find him. Just to be devious, I told her I drew one more Waldo than I actually had.
It’s just that kind of week.
Any assignment I had was met with derision, and then promptly ignored for Youtube. This brings me to the point of this blog entry.
The beauty of YouTube Procrastination.

It’s that time again. One holiday has passed and another is just around the corner. Movies are once again flocking to the movie theater, hoping to grab all the attention and get the big bucks.
Today will see the invasion of four brand spanking new movies. Two thrillers, a comedy, and a retelling of an old Christmas classic. All these movies have more hype than the last.
A Christmas Carol, in 3D, The Fourth Kind, The Men Who Stare at Goats, and The Box.

Well, I couldn’t stay away and I witnessed the phenomenon that is Paranormal Activity.
And, I’ll tell you this straight, I got scared. I jumped, I yelled, and I even shouted at the screen once or twice. When I got home, I wanted to keep all the lights on and not sleep under the covers.

Where the Wild Things Are.
It’s amazing.
It’s brilliant.
It’s FANTASTIC.
Based off the children’s book by Maurice Sendak, Where the Wild Things Are is by no means a children’s movie.
Max is an imaginative young boy, full of stories and ideas. But he’s lonely, feels like he has no control over his life, and he’s angry because of it. His mother also has too much going on to pay him enough attention and his sister has outgrown him.
After an explosive fight with his mother, he runs away to the island where the Wild Things are.
